Following the Prime Minister’s announcement tonight (Friday 20th March) the Village Hall is closed for social events until further notice. It remains open for appropriate business use.
The Recreation Ground remains open for public use (but see the notice below about the play area upgrades). If using the Recreation Ground please observe relevant social distancing precautions.
Next week (around Wednesday 25th March) contractors are due to start replacing the old swings and slide by brand new ones. Once that is done a separate contractor will be repairing all the Junior Play Area wetpour surfacing.
We will then be having the junior multiplay equipment repainted and repaired and we will then have a fine play area in great shape for many years to come.
The Hall remains available for all users.
The Village Hall is still operating but most regular groups are now cancelled until the end of May.
The situation will be kept under ongoing review.
A message to Kington Langley Parishioners. Martin and Nikki Casey have volunteered to manage the villagers’ efforts to support each other through the current situation regarding Coronavirus and to be a point of contact for general information and help.
Chippenham Lions are holding 2 events in the Kington Langley Village Hall in the near future.
