Rural Arts Touring – 2018

Our next Rural Arts Touring event in the village hall is on Saturday 28th April, 7.30 pm: Mumbo-Jumbo Troubadours & Raconteurs in a Rootsy, Folky, Bluesy Vibe.

Oliver Carpenter, Chris Lomas and Phil Bond – aka Mumbo-Jumbo – deliver eclectic, acoustic close harmony, multi instrumental piano based music.

“One phenomenal live band” – Live & Local

“The musicianship is unsurpassable, and the songwriting is excellent.” - Blues in Britain magazine
(Shortlisted in the British Blues Awards 2016 and 2012.)

“With no shortage of onstage banter and engaging the audience at every opportunity, Mumbo Jumbo are fabulous musicians and thoroughly entertaining folk. The show never feels staged, it feels like the band are having as much fun as the audience.” - Neen Sollars Village Hall, Shropshire

“Very enjoyable indeed, great harmonies, engaging original songs and a really entertaining evening” - Great Witley Village Hall, Worcestershire
